Zogho Largo (lit. "long play") is the first form of combat in Fiore de'i Liberi's illustrations, and is the easiest to implement without abrazare; being at long distance, meaning that neither swordsman can strike the other from their beginning positions.. As such, it is the favored form of our friend the zugadore in his fights with the scolaro, but even in this the beginner is outmatched by the skill of his foe, who easily kills him.

The zogho largo utilizes long cuts and passari instead of abrazare grappling (as used in the close quarters of  zogho stretto combat), and thus the only weapon required is a longsword, poleaxe or spear without the use of the hands or dagger.
